HUD's National Call to Action for Affordable Housing Through Regulatory Reform.

Resolution and Letter

HUD’s National Call to Action campaign is designed to create a national network of states, communities, and affordable housing advocacy groups who pledge to regulatory reform, and by doing so, strengthen the national commitment to providing affordable housing for America's workforce. If your organization is interested in participating in this campaign, please contact your HUD Regional or Field office. For additional guidance, please contact the Regulatory Barriers Clearinghouse at 1-800-245-2691, option 4.

We have provided a Resolution and letter to serve as a guide for your organization’s participation in the National Call to Action campaign. In order to participate, your organization must complete and mail the Call to Action letter to the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development stating your commitment to forming a task force (or that one is already in the working stage). Although optional, we also encourage you to formally pass or adopt the Resolution. Please mail the signed, original letter, along with the Resolution (if applicable) to:

The Honorable Roy A. Bernardi
Deputy Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
451 7th Street SW
Washington DC 20410
