Profiles of GSE Mortgage Purchases
This dataset is no longer updated.
The Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 requires that the Department of Housing and Urban Development publicly release data – in forms useful to the public – on mortgages purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These government sponsored enterprises (GSEs) operate in the secondary market for residential mortgages. In keeping with HUD's mandate, the compendiums of tables present profiles of mortgages purchased by the GSEs.
