
Newark Housing Authority Receives HUD Grant
The Oregonian (3/3) reported, "The Newark Housing Authority was one of 84 housing authorities in the state to receive funds from" HUD. Shaun Donovan, the secretary of HUD, "made the announcement that $321,476,119 was being made to 84 housing authorities across New York State." Notably, the authority "received $188,668 of those funds through HUD's Capital Fund Program to build, repair, renovate, and/or modernize the public housing in the community."
