California Poised to Require "Solar Ready Roofs" on New Homes and Buildings

The Monterey County (CA) Herald (5/31, Hull, 28K) reports, "State regulators with the California Energy Commission are expected to approve stringent energy efficiency standards for new residential and commercial buildings Thursday. Notably, all new buildings would be required to have roofs which allow installation of solar panels.
