Malloy pushes for energy efficiency
The New Haven (CT) Register (6/15) reports, "Gov. Dannel Malloy used a regional gathering of energy efficiency supporters in Stamford to make case that the state is becoming a national leader in the field." He is quoted as saying, "We must make a major transformation and move forward with an approach that provides our people and our businesses with cheaper, cleaner and more reliable power. Cheaper, cleaner and more reliable — that must be our energy mantra. It is the only viable and sustainable strategy for creating jobs, rebuilding our economy and protecting our environment."
