
New Louisiana Housing Agency Begins
The Apartment Finance Today (7/3) reports, "The Louisiana Housing Corp. (LHC) has begun operating as the state's new housing agency, administering dozens of programs, including the low-income housing tax credit. The new agency consolidates the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency and the housing programs of the Office of Community Development, Department of Health and Hospitals, and the Department of Children and Family Services." The new agency was created last year, with an objective of "consolidating the state's housing programs under one roof."
