Reach Higher Program shows Great Success
The Bowling Green (KY) Daily News (7/18) says in an editorial, "The Housing Authority of Bowling Green's Reach Higher program has served more than 520 people since its inception in 1997. It has helped the majority of those participants, who come from across southcentral Kentucky, learn job and life skills and find permanent employment so they don't have to receive a government welfare check." The paper says funding for the program has been well spent.
