ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - This morning they woke up under overpasses, or outside vacant buildings, but thanks to the city’s effort to end veteran homelessness, 50 veterans are moving into their own apartments around St. Louis today. “It’s the start of a whole new life for me, being able to be responsible again,” said one veteran. He’s one of the 50 counted in the last homeless census as having no where to go.
