
Newark Officials Unveil $50M Energy-Saving Plan For 10,000 Housing Authority Units
The Star-Ledger (11/7, Lee) reports that "starting in January, about 10,000 residents in Newark Housing Authority developments will get energy-saving updates made to their homes as part of a massive energy-performance contract." Approximately "6,400 residential units in 39 of the city's 45 housing authority complexes will get retrofitted with energy-efficient lighting, new windows, and low-flow toilets, shower heads and faucets, among other updates."
