
Northeastern Indiana Project Gets $2.25M US Grant to Convert Senior Housing to Assisted Living
The AP (12/7) reports that "a northeastern Indiana senior complex will receive a $2.25 million grant from" HUD "to convert 20 housing units for assisted living so frail residents can continue to reside there." According to the agency, the funding "will be used to remodel kitchens and bathrooms and to develop common areas including a new commercial kitchen and dining room, a therapy room; laundry facilities; a nursing office; and multipurpose space."
