The Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH) promotes the creation and use of technology to improve the quality, durability, environmental performance, energy efficiency, and affordability of American homes. Led by HUD, this public/private initiative combines resources from both the Government and the housing industry to speed innovation throughout the homebuilding industry. Builders, manufacturers, and other housing professionals can learn more about PATH and the use of new technologies in homebuilding by visiting the PATH website. The site provides information on PATH's partners, demonstration projects using new technologies, and consumer information. Technical support links are also provided. PATHways, a new newsletter, provides quarterly updates on the PATH initiative. The newsletter highlights projects using new technologies, profiles PATH partners, and offers money-saving tips to homeowners.
