Description: Campau Farms in Elmwood Park is a 181-unit pioneering flat/townhome community created from seven acres of urban blight. The land was purchased from the City at "bargain basement" prices, and developed into affordable, maintenance-free, safe, city housing.

There are two housing plans to choose from:1,066 square feet, two bedroom, one bath flat; or 1,311 square feet, two-bedroom, two and three-quarter bath two –story bath two-story townhome. Each home includes an attached garage, private deck, and all appliances; and the center of the community includes a village green, shady park, gazebo, and pool.

All homes in the community were sold within nine months, one-third to single women, one-third to single men, and one-third to couples.
