HUD's implementation of the 1992 GSE Act has led to regulatory initiatives related to the GSEs' housing goals, fair housing, access to information on the GSEs, and related matters. The HUD web site provides information on general GSE regulatory activities and the GSEs' performance relative to their housing goals. Information on the financial regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is available from the website of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight.
